If it means taking thousands of archaic, inbred, subhuman, imaginary friend fanatics for each American life lost, then that's literally a net positive for making the world a better place.
An unfortunately necessary evil for as long as the world has archaic, feral/uncivilized animals that need to be dealt with; not left to fester until they're really fucking us all. As if Middle East terrab conflicts would/do remain in the Middle East, even if/when the West isn't involved.
What are the ratios of American lives vs third worlder lives lost in these wars we get involved in? That should literally be the only consideration.
