They're huge and a single instanced map in stalker is far larger than whatever POI cluster of lackluster engagement mihoyo pulls off the content treadmill. And if you played gamma you'd know how much care actually went into placing artifacts and stashes, which simply were the focus of the retail games at all despite having a lot more effort behind them than this game.

And that's not a positive. These are not games with good open worlds. Like who's the guy who's super into collecting riddler trophies in bamham and decides he needs to do that for 2000 hours in a gacha? It's just weird and stupid. The number of games comparable to Uma musume are extremely limited, there is no "just go play this instead", and that's why I'd argue it's worth playing. The same can't be said for genshin.
