I had a 2000 pt Alpha Legion vs Thousand Sons game today, no pics. My 3rd, his 1st. He won 24-22.
Observations:
>Champions are dead 'ard. He and his tac squad tanked 50% of the TS dumping all their ranged weapons, then he by himself spent 2 turns locked in combat with the Sekhmet
>my Araknae was like an inverse Distraction Carnifex (Danger Zoanthrope?). He was terrified to move his tacs close enough to contest because the one time he did I got LOS and deleted half his squad
>the issue of what is majority in a unit of 2 models came up a lot and had to be decided with roll-offs
>Exodus was fun
>he used the current Asphyx bolter with the pistol rules and they were annoying but not terrible impactful
>Volkite Kratos is the answer to the tacspam question. Forget AT for LRs, bring it for the Kratos.
>I'm not sure if I was pulling punches or trying to bait him into a bad play but I kept my termies in their LR t2 and that cost me momentum overall
