let's see

Ultimate has

>more character

>more stages

>more modes

>more music

>better graphics

>stage builder

>an actual adventure mode

>8 player smash

>can be played on the switch and not the computer

Melee

>wavesharting

look everyone finds fun in different things but for most of us loading up a game on the computer so you can play melee competitively against other people online isn't it. Maybe have i can't see it because I live in a country where buying a new game doesn't cost a months salary but I cannot imagine coming home from a tough day at work or school just to get on a computer and sweat your ass off playing random people online. A game that is visually ugly as well, I would not willingly stare at that game for thousands of hours.

It's funny how all these super serious PRO controllers put a shitton of emphasis on the analog stick sensors when realistically there's next to zero application to having high performing sticks. Like even games that are considered to have precise 3D movement like Mario 64 can be played just fine with fairly sloppy analog movement, honestly the whole stick drift issue would be totally solved by simply setting more generous deadzone levels(this is why PS2 and Gamecube pads never drifted, they were using the same shitty physical sensors that controllers nowadays have).

The whole thing became a problem because manufacturers reduced the deadzone to near zero levels because that was expected to give players more precise right analog aiming in FPS games, when aiming with analogs is comically imprecise to begin with and only functions because the games have a hardcoded aimbot on consoles

>when proton exists?
I have no idea what that is and I don't really care to find out
I just want an operating system that boots and runs the software I need and Windows does that. That doesn't just include games either, I use my computer for work and there's all kinds of shit that I have no idea whether or not would play nice with Linux. There's enough shit to do in life, you don't need to create complications where there are none
