>I don't get along well with people who are viscerally hateful
I don't either, and that swings both ways. If someone doesn't like someone, or something, I always ask or try to understand "why" and determine for myself whether I feel their reasoning is justified or not even if I don't agree with the move. I don't get involved with transpeople because of a series of nightmarish situations, that I feel is more being careful than being hateful, but people would act like it's unreasonable to hold that.
I.E two people don't like each other, I don't care that I find it retarded, I ask why they don't like each other and if they have a good reason it's like "Oh well alright then." Like I won't ask someone to "pretend to like somebody" if the reason they hate them is a really ugly falling out.
I hate people on "my side" (polar opposite of yours) for retarded reasons just as much as I hate the people diametrically opposed to me for equally retarded reasons. I.E R acting extreme because L acted extreme for the last decade which fingerpoints at R acting extreme a decade before that which guess fucking what... fingerpointing AGAIN. Break the cycle and quit perpetuating it. New slate, start over, who is at fault -now-?
