What’s fascinating about the secret segments is that doing this is the intended way to be able to put up a fight against the roaring knight and attain Chapter 3’s shadow crystal.

I'm inclined to believe the games basically copy over the ones controlling them, which is what we see every time we boot up the real game. I've dabbled in writing a fair bit as of lately and I found Gerson to be the turning point to me absolutely loving Deltarune.
His whole bit about Susie wanting things to go forever and his response to that is similar to the themes that's been boiling in my mind since late last year, and the whole circumstance regarding his existence was something fucking else to me. Using that one last opportunity gifted to him out of nowhere to tell his child one last thing, even if it's not the original words that he wrote but something transformed (as long as the original message is retained to some degree), just hit so many of my buttons. A respected writer and yet even he failed to get out every message he wanted, and how chasing for those old memories can lead to disaster (the statue fight) is just such a package that added so much gravity to everything in the game.
Everything from the church and it's community to what the characters are finally learning as they dive deeper into the prophecy is something else, and I hope that Toby lands it. I really fucking hope he does.

Is there any significant changes in Chapter 4 Snowgrave beyond giving Noelle the ring back? I've just been going through it and it seems almost the exact same aside from that moment and some small details like Kris' status being Dark Bead or Berdly being in the hospital. There not being much in chapter 3 wasn't odd because Noelle wasn't present at all, but I expected chapter 4 to feel more like a change on the level that chapter 2 was considering Noelle gets more focus as well as it seeming to giving focus to that route even in the main route with the backstage in chapter 3 and Noelle talking about the evil route of Dragon Blazers in chapter 4.
