Deltarune gave vibes of its light world being closer to reality at least as opposed to its dark world which do get thought of as a fantasy world for the characters. Attempts to tie Undertale to Deltarune would lead to ideas that Undetale tales place in the Dark World, precisely because of it being more of a fantasy or fairy tale.

The Underground is a video game at least in a meta sense. Characters like Sans, Flowey, Asgore and Gerson know you can't attack them whenever you want and you've actually gone through all of this multiple times before somehow. The game was inspired by Toby Fox's desire to be friends with the monsters in an RPG. The barrier is a gray rectangle, like a SNES cartridge or the slot it goes into in the console. Several characters make comments about the strange way their world works, like monsters turning to dust, which is obviously meant to replicate monsters disintegrating into pixels after you kill them in old RPGs.

But whether it's something like a video game within the world itself, like how Dark Worlds represent different escapist activities, is up for debate. I would guess it isn't, but we might see something like it in Deltarune.

The biggest issue is with the attacks where you have to fit through a corridor or swords. It looks as though there's a good amount of space, and yet I keep messing up. Also that attack where the knight splits the box in two - I can dodge it when it's only horizontal or vertical, but when it starts switching around I start messing up.

All of your claims have always been controversial on /v/ due to the fact "/v/ is not one person", however the anons supporting Toby's output tend to stick out among regular uses by doing things like downplaying BLM support, whereas the detractors are usually in line with /v/'s consensus, there are other creators with much more unanimous support that's been going on for much longer (a sign of immunity against outside interference as in Toby's case where /v/ seemingly overnight went from hating furries and tumblr writing to thinking they're great actually when in Toby's games)
