Is it weird to feel guilty for winning a race because the opposing Uma loses and gets sad? When I see Taiki lose it makes me feel awful but I have to beat her up to get her pieces and make her stronger. I don't know why I feel so bad, it really only affects me when it's her in particular.

Yes you should be requesting on cooldown. At least once a day if not twice (technically you can request 3 times/day but good luck doing that). That’s how others get club points and how you should too (give 2 shoes each time because you maximize the rewards that way - if you give 1 you’ll probably be kicked for being an idiot). You can be considerate and not request dirt/long shoes as much but active clubs won’t care because people will have an excess of shoes anyway

Reminder 3LB to MLB is like 6% more chance of getting rainbow
3LB has 60 + 100 (base) x 1.2 = 192.
MLB has 80 + 100 (base) x 1.2 = 216
The other trainings give 100 for each + 50 of not appearing.
The formula of the chance to appear on desire training is Total chance of specific training / Total chance of all trainings.
If you have no specialty priority is 100/550.
For Kitasan at LB is 192/642 = 29%
For Kitasan at MLB is 216/666 = 35%

If I recall correctly, maxed SSR cards with similar specialty priority have similar chances as 3LB but nowhere close MLB, however is much less likely to have one maxed as there's no rate up for specific ones AND the skills are more specific compared to Kitasan Gold skill which works on anything.

IMO: I don't think the 6% more chance was worth the extra resources, if anything getting other cards maxed or getting more horses was the optimal play, and since uma doesn't have limited support cards, there's always the chance of getting spooked by just rolling other cards, and if you have it at MLB you get like 5 rolls at best, at worst 0 if you already have many dupes of trash SSR.

Shit advice. It's easier to hit one win big if your team is not made up of combination failures that need multiple attempts just to have the correct conditions to make a normal attempt.
To put this in numbers, if each uma in your team only has 50% of having the right stamina, with 5 distances you only get one "correct attempt" every 32 attempts. And then you have to actually have good luck in the race, because the amount of stats you saved doesn't guarantee shit. It's absurd as a strategy when the actually strongest thing to do for trials success is to feed your umas a sundae, now you need that to hit your lucky run.
