All the dirt races in TT are miles so around 800 excluding maestro is safe territory, with maestro its between 600 - 700 since you could get hit with a 1800m. But its also a good idea to build Pasa with more stamina in general because you need 30% stamina remaining for her ult to trigger

it's a whole progression / balancing / algorithm thing you are going to get better and better as as you play more and see all kinds of situations. (its kinda like poker, another game where you can play perfectly and still get fucked. or just get lucky)

say a basic spd/stam deck for a med-long uma;
your have your most important cards to prio, usually kita and creek, so you want to get their bond up, and level the facility ASAP. like a rainbow with those is going to be be higher value and prio than some random SR rainbow.
get good mood and keep it
don't waste turns on a shit training then be left with bad energy when a good turn pops up
time things right like having max/good energy for summer
maxing spd, as much stam and power as possible, whilst still get a minimum ~400/400 guts/wit especially for PVP not just going for scenario score, where you can sort of ignore it.
i tend to take the fluff stat events these days like new years +5 all stat, instead of energy, even though energy is "better", because you do want that random wit/guts bump for example
and sometimes take extra races like you are in a great spot for energy and mood but there is really no good training.
and even with all that sometimes just take an average training turn because you want facility/NPC bond/hint/its fuckin kitasan, etc.
