There's atleast some merit to it. You having 100 stat advantage on everyone means jack shit if they all can pop a velocity skill that gives boosts them more than your 100 extra speed boosts you.
The real infuriating 'advice' is when you come in second so she just goes "uwu, guess you did a fucky wucky, better luck next time" without telling you what went wrong.
