As long as it feels genuine, and within the scope of the original game, sure. Like all great media, as much as you want more, or at least think you want more, you have to keep in mind there's only so much that you can stretch it out. Think of something like Star Wars: lived well beyond it's natural life span until it turned into something completely alien to the original concep.
