Some warbonds are way better than others. Democratic Detonation is the usual recommendation because it's full of powerful weapons and useful utility.

Whenever this game gets harder I'm more interested in it, but playing it is an exercise in frustration because people straight-up refuse to adjust how they play. It's like, I can see possibilities we could try as a team to deal with the shit we're facing, but it's not how anyone wants to play, they do some random build like EATs and turrets and go "what The Fuck This Is Bullshit" when the turrets go on cooldown and they get overwhelmed.

Helldivers dev here. We hear you! Today we've decided to make the following changes to the game.

- Eruptor banned
- Dragon roaches get anti-helldiver missiles
- More Hive Lords
- Chargers also charge your steam account 0.02 after every successful kill
- Missiles or autocannon rounds will sometimes bounce off enemy armour, even if it has the correct pen
- Stalwart is not shit
- Hellpods will land anywhere, regardless of where your teammate throws it
- Impaler tentacles violate your bussy
- Warbonds double in price
- Any time you die to any to the new big bugs, or if you complain in chat using words that the algorithm understands, it will flash on the screen "Lower The Difficulty."
- If all Helldivers die and a full replacement is required, the difficulty will lower regardless
- Players with weeb or furry profile pictures will be obliterated

You make a decent point, but trapdoor spiders don't dig AT prey, they dig a burrow and WAIT for prey to get close. A bug that makes burrows you have to look out for and either avoid getting in melee range, or blow it up and force the bug out, would genuinely be better than what we got from the Rupture strain.

It's good, and yet if there's more than two heavies in a minute's space suddenly your turrets are getting smashed and you have nothing to deal with it. There's no cover-absolutely-everything-in-a-straight-fight solo option in this game that lets you do it consistently, and those moments where you're getting fucked but you're on cooldown are where people start bitching out.

In theory all you need is basic liberator and lip penetrator. On other hand thermite. Granade pistol and senator actually make game easier and opens up more builds. As for gems. Most gems you get from warbonds are just memes or are used in only in certain fronts. Only warpback is what you consider baseline gem.

I actually looked at every other medium pen primary to try to find a niche for a high damage, low rate of fire AR. I think giving it higher durable damage than any other automatic weapon gives it that. I didn't want to outclass the Diligence CS or JAR dominator though for single round damage, and it wouldn't make sense with it having an automatic option as well, even if it is low rpm. But I also didn't want it to completely replace the Adjudicator; hence the low mag capacity and lower RoF.

I'm also imagining this would have access to only mid-range scopes. Idk I tried.

I've been getting intensely frustrated because the games I've been finding on D10 have been largely filled with people who try to play cave missions like other missions, not only with their loadout but also in how they behave within the mission. The most frustrating thing is that people don't stick together, and then start getting mad that they're dying over and over again. What frustrates me is that people will split up and then not go to the objectives, they'll just be effectively treading water trying to kill all the enemies around them while they're alone, and because of spawn timers or just the biome itself, that never happens. That usually means they're spending the first 10-15 minutes dying over and over again alone, while I'm waiting on the objective for a single other person to come do it with me, because I don't want to start it and get all the breaches on me alone.

It's insanely frustrating and I've quit more missions than I've completed on this patch because of it. People do not step outside their habits and comfort zones.

AC Exo easily solos the dragon. The key to start getting the hang is that after it does its strafe attack it usualy quickly circles and hovers so it can do a classic BT-like spit. That is your entry level chance to fuck him up. You can even drop a 500kg under him and get him that way.

The caves themselves are great. They encourage deviating from the standard meta stratagems. Mechs instantly went from being meme stratagems to something very much at the forefront of viability for the mission type. The problems stem from the hivelord and map jank.

It's obnoxious that large portions of the map are water where you can't dive. Worse is how, for no discernible reason, hellpods get stuck out of reach when you call them down in the open areas of the cave. The jank guidance where the pods are outright ignoring your beacon placement can ruin a run.

The hivelord is an issue since the stratagems most useful for fucking him up, namely reds like strafing run, are useless within the caves. He's also too big of an HP sink for any player to feasibly solo, which is an issue since often on D10 whether or not you can clear the mission can depend on whether you can solo the objectives while your 3 pubby retard teammates flail about for dear life.

The spawns on the map are tuned way the fuck up to the point where the average pubby can't focus on anything and just gets stuck flailing about to death. As soon as the hivelord spawns they will attempt to kill it with the flamethrower and landmines that some retarded youtuber told them were S-tier. They'll ignore the adds entirely and just get torn about losing all of your reinforcement budget in 5 minutes. With great effort you can solo the cave objectives, but everything can come crashing to a hault if resupply and support gear that you need gets fucked by the swedecode.

The usecases in what they can destroy largely overlaps. It's awkward as fuck to use because you need to call in the silo, collect the laser, move far enough away to not get ragdolled, and the whole time you need to hope it doesn't catch one piece of shrapnel from anything. Its only edge is that it is long ranged, but most maps are pissfog central and the ATE does that even better. I'm not sure how intelligent the guidance is within urban settings but I'm guessing poor.

People need to remember how to find balance. It's like their zoomers that never used a manual scale. You don't seek out the balance point by making a billion little tiny changes. You start with bigger changes that deliberately overshoot the balance point and then alternate back and forth with progressively smaller adjustments until you find it.

The swedes have two major problems with balance changes. First they're thin skinned pansies who are PETRIFIED at people saying mean things to them if they nerf something. Secondly they have massive fucking egos and think that making any kind of balance change makes them lose face. Like they're pretending that they're infallible gods walking among men and they can't afford to let anyone see them bleed. Balance changes, especially among new equipment, should be common in both directions.

The community needs to man up and stop throwing such hissy fits over any nerf, but the swedes encourage the community to throw such tantrums because their balance changes are so rare and it is like pulling teeth to get them to reconsider any values because again their egos make them act like they're gods among men and that making any subsequent balance passes to the gear would be like admitting fault and losing face.

They only reasonable stealth is avoiding confrontation entirely until you get into a position to get VERY loud and rapidly overwhelm every target with overwhelming firepower. If you're trying to sneak through bases and pick off enemies one by one you are unironically part of the retarded shitter teammate problem.

Here's a few tips to avoiding unnecessary confrontations.
>Enemies largely use noise to detect you and will investigate sounds
You can leverage this to your advantage with something explosive weapons like the eruptor/xbow. If a patrol is inbound, you can divert them by causing a detonation nearby them. They'll stop their approach and investigate the sound. You can also bait many of the guards to leave an outpost and investigate the noise outside. This is easiest with the xbow because the weapon's report is quiet, so you're less likely to draw any attention to yourself. It's still possible with loud things like eruptor if you gauge the locations of enemies properly and make certain that nothing identifies you prior to them being distracted by the explosion.

Caves, sans drops bugging up in open chambers, are good. The dragon is a good addition that gives more reason to consider bringing SPEAR and orbital failcannon. The only problem with the dragon is the desync between the flame animation and the actual pain zones.

The invisible walls corposes leave behind are also incredibly apparent this update because of tight quarters.
Game is fucking broken but it wasn't an issue when you had all the room in the world to maneuver.

It's wild how differently this game performs on different hardware. I have a 13700 (not the rusty ones), and a 3080 and it's crashed probably two dozen times for me in like maybe 10 missions. Most of the time it's even crashing steam as well somehow.

I’m covered in so much blood and squid meat from hours and hours of slaughtering. What do you guys do in between operations? For me, it’s a quick food binge so I can get back to slaughtering squiggers. I don’t enjoy meals unless it’s a rushed binge hurrying back to slaughter squid. Silicon Valley is the show I have on in the background while I snuff down some chicken salad. It’s a decent show.
