Bottom line about memorization is: if you don't know the theoretical information like the back of your hand, when the time comes for you to effectively combine it in a time-sensitive, high-stress situation, where you have to make decisions with incomplete information, you are going to fuck up 10% of the time. And if you hurt 10% of your patients, you'll be out of a job in a week.
