The last two only really applies to how K. Rool presents himself in the DKC2 and 3. His debut he was pretty much all brawl, and in 64 he went back to being a brawler.

Even Red Hare in DW8 feels too slow. I miss being able to equip Charm of Alacrity+20 and Fleet Mail+20 so that I can basically zip around maps on foot at lightspeed without needing to ever ride a horse.

It's just a controversial game of the month, same as E33 and newest Doom and whatever came before that nobody cares to remember now. And this too will be forgotten in a month or two, replaced by another hot new thing, and the Wheel of Samsara will complete another turn.
