The main thing I didn't like is that it's really unintuitive to play through it blind. You saved before the boss but didn't do the S rank stuff? Too bad, you'll have to RESTART now if you wanna get that stupid mantle. Also, sure you don't need to earn S rank, you can buy it, but we won't tell you how much POINTS you need to buy S rank until after the first round's over and you can't farm anymore points because fuck you. By the way if you get the mantle before you get the trip ticket you can't get the egg, oh did you already save? RESTART.
I liked that in ch1 and 2 you could load to the save before the boss and still backtrack to find all the secrets you missed but with ch4 and especially 3 there's so much more easily misable stuff. I don't mind THAT much if it's the trade off for more interesting chapter structures but, I just wish the QoL was a little better.
