all anybody needs to do to learn a foreign language is

1. anki the first 1000-2000 most common words

2. input as many hours per day as possible. you'll eventually start outputting naturally

3. light daily study of a textbook to keep yourself on track, like 15 minutes per day

all of that together is basically maxxing out on language learning redpills if you don't have a lot of money. this isn't hard. it just takes a lot of hours and 99% of people just don't want to commit.
