true, if they were so worried about my getting into difficulty up Snowdon they sent someone, me suddenly not posting for days would seriously set alarm bells ringing

Not sure marching up and down the Malverns 6 times, the Wrekin once and Snowdon once actually achived anything. I am fitter and have gone down from a 18.5" neck to a 17.5" neck but it's definitely a box ticking exercise

I reckon it's equally as possible that someone doing a LARP just looked up on instagram for people who had posted pics of Snowdon from Thursday, on the off chance that it would be someone I would have passed, and remembered. I did post a picture that could have let them know which exact path I was on.
He seemed to know a lot about the paths/car parks/bus timetables but I suppose it could have been researched.
But I did mention it 4 days in advance.

It was pretty vaugue and non-commital though, that would be a lot of effort though, driving hundreds of miles potentially and spending hours climing a mountain, just to briefly pass me for a few seconds. When I posted a picture about 750 metres up, he could have then worked out roughly when I'd be passing that point. The person in that pic was with a woman too, imagine dragging her along two, maybe she didn't even know and he was even pulling the wool over her eyes about the real intent of the visit.
