You have to remember anon, the NES was during the time of platform transition, and the games reflect this. It wasn't uncommon to keep a pen and paper to write down hints, passwords, and maps. Final fantasy was a slog because that's what primitive rpg's were like. The challenge was planning how you'd get through each area and trying to find the most efficient path with what you had. When video fully took over, most games did away with expecting its audience to carry a logbook with them.

so it's been being tossed around that the reason he turns to stone and is reviled by the rest of tv world is that he's actually a foreign plug design, like european comapred to american or whatever. then you take into account how he's needed to allow kris to play the 'real' version of the games, not tenna's 'edited' ones...
I'm starting to wonder if Kris like, actually got his hands on some kind of "original japanese version" of Dragon Blazers that had way more fucked up unedited stuff, even worse than the "evil route" we already know exists in the game, and it ends up having been a core element to Kris's weirdness and why he's so..
