FF -> FFIX mostly great, some bumps here and there but enjoyable games.
FFX is good but it was also shit for a number of reasons, and no I'm not talking just about X-2.
XI (and XIV) were NOT appreciated by real FF fans, and I think people have forgotten how controversial XII was when it came out. Then XIII came out and is literally the very worst Final Fantasy game of all time, possibly the very worst JRPG of all time, and its sequels only made it worse.
And then the snowball of shit just kept rolling.
I couldn't give less than a shit about this franchise or Square in general to be honest.
