40k isn't a Fantasy setting, it's a Sci-Fi setting. Furthermore it's about Humans fighting abstract extra-dimensional entities while some alien shitters act as filler. The focus of 40k, as stated by GW themselves, is the Imperium vs Chaos. Aliens aren't even needed.
