You can do that, but then you have to account for the marketing budgets...

Let's be real, no one actually likes the new Superman movie. Most influensers say it's bad to mid, and the others are shilling it for more WB invites and previews.

Angry Joe literally went from "It's a 6/10!" to "It's a 10/10!"

It's so transparent that the new Superman movie is cap.

Bro...Both the Boys and Invincible surpassed all expectations.

The fact that Gunn can't make the original compete with the knock-offs should prove how shit of a director he is.

Gunn can't handle moral complexity and can't help himself to undercut emotional moment with some borderline retarded joke that sounds like it should be followed up by a laugh track.

2 weeks and we're at Black Adam numbers? Well, half way to breaking even I suppose.

I projected that it would land in-between 500M and 600M worldwide (which would be less than pre-inflation MoS), and it seems like we're edging our way there.

>I don't think Snyder won really
Domestically:

MoS: Movie came out on Thursday, made $128M ($177M in today's money) domestically opening week.

S2025: Movie was available to the public from Tuesday (two full days earlier) closes week domestically with $123M.

Internationally it wasn't even a competition, S2025 MASSIVELY under-performed everywhere except in the USA.

How people can gaslight themselves into thinking "Snyder didn't win" is inane.

$100M opening week is low. Next week it's going to fall off -50% and it's going to make $50M, and then $10M - $30M the remaining weeks it's out.

So $400M is what you can expect at the end of it. Which is lower than Man of Steel BEFORE adjusting for inflation.

When people say "immigrants are good" it's undermining the fact that illegal immigration (and the policies surrounding it) is tearing the country apart. Taking a shade of grey and turning it black or white, vilifying the other side, is insidious and should always be chastised.

But of course Gunnjeets are not smart enough to grasp the nuances of context. For them stories have to be black and white, as if they were written for a toddler.

>You can’t show muscle definition with that material. Why Cavill had literally sculpted on muscles.
Yeah, Cavill was an actor, playing a character. Part of his job was to look the part.

>Gunn didn’t want to do that which I’m fine with not having fake muscles.
But he sure dyed his hair black, and I'm sure you have no issues with that.

Nevertheless it doesn't change the fact that it's universally agreed on that the new suit looks like shit. The collar is garbage, it's baggy, ...even the crest is wrong.

Can't wait for this shit to flop so people like you can sober up to reality.
