It's not just this one or dead space too, but I feel like a lot of recent survival horror games threads have those few schizos that always shit up the threads.
Granted a lot of it does come from the fact that a lot of them are remakes, including RE4 remake and Silent Hill 2 Remake but some original indie ones also get some unwanted hate like Signalis and some barely get any threads at all like Crow Country. And now an original IP like Cronies is still being shat on despite not being a remake. Even a new one that's not even out yet like Silent Hill f is getting hate for some dumbfuck reason.
I really think there's a few schizos that are making it their life mission to shit on every survival horror game there is.
This is already a niche genre and letting it get this type of treatment is silly.

It's really weird since didn't ryukishi wrote this game? He made it a point that guns absolutely would be around in bumfuck villages like this one just like in Higurashi, with the teenage characters using guns too.
If not from hunters or police officers, at the very least even remnants of WW2 weaponry are always around, especially 1960s Japan.
Even Siren with its bumfuck villages has guns. I'm really just hoping it's a early game thing and they didn't wanna spoil you getting one later in the game.
