From what I've seen and reading about some posts around the corners of the internet. Issue is that quite a few for some odd reason think it's a good idea to place all hopes into hopeless meetings and then proceed to crash out or feel more and more demotivated as they get unlucky or otherwise have to accept just "okay" aces.
I think anyone who is constantly stressing out over CMs and feeling bad when losing should shift their goal to qualify for finals to get some carats. If you really do not enjoy the process of missing out on meta because you can't afford it or got unlucky and don't enjoy the process of preparation for each CM, it's just going to be miserable.
I still firmly believe while winning is always nice and good to aim for, you should not tunnel vision on the 1st place and doing anything you can to reach it no matter how much you dislike the process. That and PvP in a gacha game is quite the chore as anyone who pays already has an advantage over you, same with people who have time to actually grind out hundreds of runs. If you are not willing to do these things your chances are going to be lower and lower and if you refuse to accept more realistic vision of CMs, it will hit harder and harder.
