yeah I can't bring myself to care in the slightest about the stat-off of pvp outside of doing it for the random rewards daily, the fun bit (for me at least) is the writing quality and the strategy of getting different umas through their careers and score-chasing to try to do better and better each time. If the choice is between going all-in on cards to do better in the pvp numbers game and make career piss easy and focusing on rolling more umas to do more varied career stuff and see more cute characters I like the decision seems pretty obvious
