I never watched the 4kids one, I still maintain the human involvement was dogshit and unneeded
I wish we got the original idea of it being set in a pure Mobian world, I've never been a fan of pointless Isekai for no reason like that, it just feels like the writers are uncreative and couldn't built much of a fantasy world so they had to set it in our world
Same complaint I have about the new Sonic movie
