Anon I don't think you understand. The "good" times are over. Computers are no longer cheap consumer toys for the masses going forward. Computer chips are going to get more and more scarce and specialized and the ones buying the latest shit are going to be federal contractors and big tech trying to be the first to get diminishing returns on artificial intelligence. Microsoft doesn't even want to make xbox affordable anymore. Nintendo doesn't care anymore either. It's all about creating the ecosystem to rule all and selling whatever expensive box powerful enough to handle all the AI shit thrown into the 1-3 games left in the future implementing all that shit. The amount of psychological manipulation they can do on consumers in a game like GTA 6 with the AI systems underneath it collecting data on the players is endgame of video games. This is just gonna get worse until the day there is no one around smart enough to invent more efficient energy for AI data centers and the house of cards collapses.
