>one of the easiest Nintendo games in years
>has an infamously short story if you're not distracted by all the optional content
>most of the optional content is piss-easy shit just like in Odyssey
Well no shit sherlock.
Notice how even /v/ barely talks about it despite being an Odyssey-like with a zillion collectables?
Notice how nobody talks about any of the actual bosses minus coombait-kong and K Rool?
Everyone's gone through the story in one sitting and all that's left is the busywork of collecting 3.2 billion really easy moons, I mean crystal bananas, just like in Odyssey.
Shit man, even the few streamers I DO follow (and play Nintendo games) were already on a second playthrough doing challenge runs the day after release.
If I cared enough to save those "fell for it again award" meme pictures (a generic one, not one labeled for a specific console), I'd post one now; people really gotta grow a brain and stop buying consoles on launch, they just get so desperate for content to consume that they're willing to buy literally anything on impulse just to build a library.
For me it was the Wii, though funnily enough I ended up playing Wii Sports the most the first year. God I loved bowling and boxing.
