ill be honest, i do not care for "imsims" i dont hate em, but 90% of the imsims ive played sacrifice good combat or good stealth or good RPG elements for the sake of adding the option to pile up boxes to skip a section or some shit, this includes the Bioshock titles, and System Shock 2 specially, the game had a great story, but absolutely putrid gameplay

same with deus ex, bad gunplay, bad stealth, simplistic RPG elements, good story and some interesting options during gameplay

i guess thats why i like Bioshock Infinite, its not trying to be something im not particularly fond of

sure Infinite is not that, and the story is kind of dumb after you put down the controller and think about it for a bit, but is still a fun shooter, and i rarely expect a good story from a shooter, its nice to find one, like with Half-Life 2 and Wolfenstein The New Order, but its not like im actively looking for it

ive been disconnected from the Deltarune fanbase for years, so i was not aware of the whole Mike debacle but the entire segment stank of "well hello my wacky fanbase" and it was done in the service of a very bad boss fight with shitty microphone mechanics
