UT starts off being a simple lightly-comedic spin on RPG's where you try befriending the monsters instead of killing them (you still get to choose) then gradually plays with your expectations in a plethora of different ways. Saying anything more would be spoilage if you don't already know what happens. Excellent OST too. If you enjoyed the game, UT Yellow is easily the best of UT fangames and a worthy prequel to play right afterwards if you want more.
DR is a similar concept that plays with alternate world(s) shenanigans and focuses more on a concise player party with the prior game's themes, as well as a shitton of mysteries that build up each chapter release. We're currently on chapter 4 out of 7, with 5 coming next year. Still an excellent OST.
