Let's discuss physical media like DVDs and retro gaming.
Over the past couple of months I got a basic bitch DVD player and an N64 console. I've been acquiring physical media. I have an acquaintance who has done something similar but he has a modern digital SNES console that lets him also play NES games.
The internet is getting flooded with AI slop, corpos are shoving ads and sketchy stuff everywhere, and I have a bad feeling about the Windows situation and how that's going to play out over the next few years. Internet censorship also. But with my DVDs and retro games, nothing can be changed. Some woke tranny regime can't change the wording of dialogues, or how the characters look. The government can't screw with me while I play or watch my old media. No one can force the current thing or their messaging on me. And if I absolutely need more modern shows I can just open up Pluto, Tubi, or free airwave broadcast TV shows sometimes.
Is this crazy or are other anons doing this also. Something about older gaming also feels really cozy. It kind of makes me want to find ways to hack these older consoles and see if there's a way to make them network enabled, even if the games don't support it I think it would be a cool things to try.
