I installed it when it had a free weekend recently, didn't look into the game at all. Instantly Alt F4'd when I realized there was no character customization, just static characters to classes.
I then looked into it and every redditor faggot was saying "Uhhh why would we even need that??" "Seems kinda unnecessary to me."

Ill give it a shot when they add character customization. Don't wanna play as your OC characters I want to play as MY OC characters.

Why does a team game force me to do literally everything myself? I swear, ogryn and arbitrator are the best classes just for their stun immunity letting them play the game solo.

this game was cursed from the outset. every part of it is ill-conceived. they already had a template with vermintide - a wide variety of races and unique/storied characters working together to fight a wide variety of enemies across a wide variety of environments. so they decided to make you play as 3 generic humans and an ogryn (large human) fighting one single type of enemy (nurgle AGAIN) in one single type of environment (dark industrial corridors). it's completely insane. even if i were a money grubbing goblinoid publisher/dev studio, i'd want eldar and tau and orks in there somehow just to sell more varied cosmetics than metal plating and combat fatigues.

and then after all of that you have their disgusting live service tactics like forced online lobbies, a FOMO cash shop, and no true single player experience.

I have absolutely no idea how this game is as loved as it is. I played this shit for 8 hours, mechanically I figured i'd love it but the sole thing ruining the game for me is the "take 3 steps, wait through a loading screen, take 3 steps, wait through a loading screen," OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I figured it would get better as I'd either get units that had more action points, or I'd get enough units that I could delegate more actions too to at least make it a little better, BUT IT'S STILL BRUTALLY FUCKING SLOW. It's been a little while since I've played might and magic 3 but that was not nearly THIS SLOW. in 8 hours of playtime i'm not sure i've even made much progress just from the sheer snail tier pace the entire game is forced at. Am I missing something? It's utterly FUCKING INSANE how people put up with this, not sure if I'll come back to playing it which sucks because the idea of fantasy interdimensional race war is so cool.
