Let me just copy my theory to you:

Something that I’ve seen absolutely no one comment on is that at the end of the backstage mini game, you mimick the knights movements exactly. First you kill Tenna, then move to the right, and then finally move down to the bunker immediately after
Kris and the Knight pose similiarly in many, many instances. At first I thought that this was because Kris admired Dess/Knight, the second mantle game suggests something else however. In it there is a black deer transformed into a shadow-monster that copies your exact movements. This must be viewed in conjunction with the events of mantle game 3.
In game 3 mini-kris copies the Knights future actions before they even happen
You kill Tenna
Continue going to the Right
And then you head down into the bunker
Then you head inside of the bunker against your will and meet Eram.
At the end of the chapter the bunker opens for Kris so this happens as well.
This all happens after the mantle game. But how did it know what would happen?

If Kris poses were simply copying Dess why does the Knight carry out actions in the exact same way as Kris? Maybe Kris's original soul is in Dess. It has been suspected by many that only those with souls remain as lightners in the dark world and can go back to the light world. A dark world could revive Dess, but it couldnt let her leave it. So Kris tried his best to save her. But it ended up twisting her, we don't know what happens to monsters who absorb human souls in deltarune, the facts are different.
If Kris's soul is in the Knight it would explain how he can either see or plan out what the Knight does before it happens.
Lastly I would just like to mention that dark worlds created by monsters seemingly are reversed with different colours and a different structure, as evidenced by the fountain Susie made. That would imply that the other fountains were made by those with human souls. So how does the Knight have a human soul? Well, you know now.
The Knight even has an eye where Kris has a soul. There clearly is a deeper link between them

I think toby is trying to do that for a very specific reason. She's been taking the spotlight because she is new to all this shit and has much more vigor and hope than anyone else. From the tenna talk to a lot of shit she does to solve shit like dunking us in the giant and such, she keeps purposefully taking center stage with her new hopeful outlook from the recent adventures.

But at the same time I see a lot of scenes hinting that she might be too hopeful. Obviously with the tenna scene, she says all that shit about life sucking but it'll get better, yet he still dies (obviously you can save him but in that moment he gets cooked). And during the knight fight, yeah you can win and get a chip off, but that entire fight is built with her having that speech about her friends backing her up while they are usually cooked for most of that fight, and even loses regardless despite her bravado. And with all of ch 4, sure she shows she can get stronger faster than anyone expected with her being able to grind her healing, but she also had a lot of scenes of just rushing after the knight without waiting for the others and it ends up not mattering at all. It feels like she just has hope and not much else, even though shes shown she is somewhat competent.

It's making me feel like down the line, its going to come down on her, whether it's finding out about kris/ralsei hiding really fucked up shit or running into a situation where she bumrushes and pays for it. I can't see toby not trying to go down this route, we've seen that he prefers more bittersweet outcomes even if the end may be way better, so its why I don't really mind it. Obviously I will be disappointed if it ends up she is just this godlike hopepilled person who solves every problem that comes their way, but I dont expect it.

Rudy as the Knight makes the most thematic sense and I will argue it until the day I'm proven correct.
Imagine you've lost your daughter, your best friend is going nuts in a divorce, your other daughter is fucked up in ways you can't explain, and the closet things you have to sons are either killing themselves or gone away.
Think about it, the Queen is how Rudy sees Carol, as a good overbearing mother. All the dark fountains, except the ONE made by Kris are within walking distance of the hospital and have closets to hide in.
What would you do if your daughter was killed (Toriel actually hit Dess while drunk driving theory), but you found a way to bring her back to life in the Dark World? You would want to spread the darkness just for a chance to have her back, but when she's outside the bunker she turns to stone.
Rudy also has a unique face sprite that only important characters have, he has multiple unique sounds (The knight also laughs with the same pose almost), and has been shown to get out of bed at this point.
If he can retain knight form somehow in the light world (making himself sick) he could easily have carried Undyne.
Deltarune has themes of escapism, and who wants to escape more than a parent who lost their child and is dying?

I like to think the reason Frisk doesn't have TP is because he doesn't need it. The main issue I have with the Knight's identity is that the dark fountain in chapter 2 is formed only after Noelle and Berdly arrive. This is proven by the fact that they're at the desks in the middle of studying when they wake up. So that means one of three things need to be true:
1) The Knight knew that Noelle would be in the computer lab that afternoon and waited in the closet until she arrived before making the fountain. Plausible, but easily fucked up if she decides to study at home instead, and it would require Rudy to leave the hospital with nobody noticing for an extended length of time and then get back in time for Noelle to chat with him after.
2) The Knight has to be someone that Noelle and Berdly would not consider strange to be in the lab, allowing them to walk in and make the fountain in the server closet when Noelle and Berdly aren't paying attention. This would immediately disqualify literally her entire family for obvious reasons.
3) Queen is wrong and the Knight isn't the one making the fountains in the Light World, which means the Knight could be anyone capable of travelling between Dark Worlds and the Knight's ally (besides Kris) is someone who fills the role of #2. Rudy could still be the Knight under this logic, but it would require him to make a fountain in the hospital every time with nobody noticing so he can travel to the other dark world and then get back and seal it himself when he doesn't have our soul. Under this scenario, it's much easier for the Knight to simply be someone who lives in the Dark World permanently.

There are strings of text in the game's script which are literally labeled "UNUSED" as bait for dataminers. These have been translated and updated every Chapter, and seem to describing the point of view of someone lost in total darkness. It's been widely assumed that this person is Dess.
Since Chapter 3 & 4 made is extremely clear that Dess is The Knight, some people who are coping and grasping at straws looking for any evidence against this have started claiming that Dess can't be The Knight if she's also the person in the UNUSED text - how can she be The Knight if she's still lost?
The answer is obviously that the UNUSED text is not happening concurrently with the game's story - in the Chapter 1 text the speaker is clearly disoriented and confused finding themself in the dark for the first time, but Dess disappeared YEARS ago, not yesterday. Spamton's line ("... can anyone here me? Help...") which is generally assumed to be him somehow broadcasting part of the UNUSED text is also referencing the Chapter 1 text despite taking place in Chapter 2. The UNUSED text is telling us about what happened to Dess when she got lost years ago, to give context for how she turned into The Knight now. Until The Knight is actually unmasked, there is still dramatic tension about their identity, and what it means for their relationship with Kris and their role in the story as a whole. The people who are obsessive enough might basically already know it, but if you care enough about the story then you ought to be more interested in the consequences of whoever The Knight turns out to be than just treating it like a whodunnit where figuring out the mystery before the author explains it to you is the end of the story.
There's no reason to blow your load immediately, that's not how you write a story. Even for less significant details like confirming the fact that monsters bleed in Deltarune, Toby wisely chose to wait until an appropriate dramatic moment at the end of Chapter 4 instead of having it just casually revealed by Susie scraping her knee in Chapter 2 (or even earlier in Chapter 4 with the cut joke about Susie sucking Noelle's blood). There's a time and place for everything in a story.

You have to beat him in the neutral ending before you're able to do the pacifist ending, which has a kino resolution with him repeatedly telling you to kill him. Then you learn about the hidden lab, which elaborates on Asriel's backstory (which was first introduced before the neutral ending) and makes the connection between him and Flowey. And then when it's revealed who Flowey is at the end of the pacifist route when you fight him, it's like pieces falling into place. They just fit. You're invested in Flowey as a character. You know him. You know that despite his psychopath exterior there's something more to him. He's the most complex character in the game. Compare it to Dess, who you as the player know fuck all about and you never meet. For the time being this seems like an unsatisfying way to go with the narrative. It's like a whodunit mystery, where the perpetrator is revealed to be someone that wasn't among any of the suspects and who wasn't even present in the narrative, just that their existence was alluded to. But it can be built up more with future chapters, it's just that if you were to make that reveal now, it wouldn't be satisfying at all.

Today I had this fucked up nightmare about Chara appearing in Deltarune.
Basically, there was this strange interaction with a mirror in the game that pops up the box message, that one that appears to choose what Kris says or does with your SOUL. Except this one reflected an actual mirror In the text box and you would find another heart and there were no options to choose. For some reason my subconcious thought to open the window 9 more times, and I noticed my SOUL's reflection was gone, and instead it was placed as my heart's shadow. Then I started to move my heart anywhere like that cutscene in Chapter 4 where the rain stops when Susie asks "what were you two talking about"
And I moved my heart to invisible options, my "shadow" did as well, but completely out of place. There was this puzzle written on the lines and after a certain order, I managed to make the shadow SOUL be aligned with mine's. The screen darkened and only my SOUL remained until. "My Determination. My human SOUL..."
Without appearing, but speaking in the pure dark like a narrator, Chara gave a strange monolog where she explains that she is a God that will consume every world in existence and that everytime a number goes up, its her.
As she talked, strange music played as if it was the big villain reveal and all of that. Except the fact that, in the background, there were thousands of screens of different videogames grinding for EXP. One of them was Minecraft I think.
