I unfortunately may have a backdoor in my brain to the FRIEND demon (yellow and pink eyes, from the darkness ocean dimension, cat-squid influencing cat-squid characters in Homestuck for both Hussie and then for Toby's DELTA RUNE) due to having Spamton basically just spawn on his own as a mental desktop buddy in my head. I've never quite understood what targeting threads that go on for "too long" is actually supposed to accomplish. It's just hostility towards subcommunities and that trickles down to hostility towards the full community. It's not like it's taking up "valuable space" for something else, /v/ has something like 150 thread slots and almost all of them are full of garbage at a moment's notice. And that's WITH the mods having their own dedicated "garbage dump board" in /vg/, a board that serves no actual purpose past dumping things mods don't want to see on /v/.
