Spring/Left are comparable to X Corners/X Straightaways OO and Triumphant Pulse/BTEDM/Teio Step.

Med S is almost exactly equal to Spring 2 + Left 2.
I made a little calc of the speed formula in excel and med S is the same as med A with 123 speed above cap. 2 lv 2 speed passives is 120 speed above cap.

getting both of them is extremely high priority if possible. I'd genuinely reccomend running an MLB lv 40 R silence suzuka speed card to try to get left handed and borrowing the new sakura chiyono o card to try to get spring runner, if you can't get them from sparks or race rewards.
And the other reason they're so valuable is they can't fail. they activate every time. there's no wit check, no position you have to be in, it's consistent guaranteed results.

As a pace chaser i've found BTEDM to not be all that consistant. There's barely any frontrunners, and most of the time you're in no worse than 3rd come the final corner, sometimes even 1-2 and then shooting doesn't work. I really wouldn't run BTEDM unless you're late/end or symboli rudolph herself who can't not take it.

And if it's SP efficiency you're worried about, you can also just take lv 1 that's generally 91 points for 40 speed instead of comitting to level 2 that more than doubles the cost for half the gain. I'll agree with you 100% that going lv 2 is probably poor spending, but I'll also 100% argue in favor of lv 1 of both.

I think a lot of people also don't realize you should be greeding for low distance courses in TT. For your long umas you should build for 2600m because there's a 55% chance to get 2500/2600. You just throw all the 2800+ races but you have higher wit for skill procs and more SP for more skills.
