i will never stop being angry about this and will forever hate Bungie
i've posted a couple times before about how much i hate the Witness, what they've done to the Darkness, how they ruined the Pyramids, the veiled statues, the whole Light & Darkness Saga shit
and so many other things, too many
it's so tiresome

the handling of Oryx in Heresy was so disgusting that he's coming to set things right irl >>534892605
what the Books of Sorrow say is completely disregarded while at the same time there were loads references to them in the Echo's dialogue and there were those voiced excerpts in the Nether
the worst offender was probably notOryx becoming disillusioned with the Sword Logic calling it false and himself a heretic for bringing back his sisters after he killed them. when anyone who actually read the Books of Sorrow and has an IQ above room temperature(in celsius) should be able to understand why it doesn't go against the logic
there's also the nonsensical timeline of Oryx getting his throne, the killing and resurrection of his sisters, and the Dreadnaught's construction
the writing in Heresy was absolute dogshit but a lot of the players love that Episodeā„¢ anyway and praise its story

Robert and Alison obviously don't care about Destiny or know anything about it
eternal reminder that Robert Brookes saw two men who call each other brother and he, as a queer man, decided that they are gay lovers and always have been

>this is the same franchise that had a game open up with racism AND classism
>that was immediately followed up by everyone you know being betrayed and killed
>followed by the entire game being full of people being racist, classist and confrontational everywhere you go
And Mass Effect fans think they had it bad with Andromeda.
At least Andromeda could still somewhat be recognized as a Mass Effect game.

Off the top of my head
>Minsc was supposed to be in act 1
>Werewolf granny halfling was a companion
>Wyll was a fraud
>Shadowheart was more of a bitch but still originally a selunite
>Gale was the same, but more ruthless about it
>you could knock up Minthara, and Karlach had voice lines about it, indicating you could romance her with a non evil playthrough, or Karlach wasn't originally good exclusive
>Daisy was her own character, and both down by the river and the power were written with her in mind
>the dark urge was an aspect of the custom character origin
>the parasite powers were significantly more prominent and impactful
>the noble district was a thing
