Aware of the problem doesn't really mean much if everybody aware is just feeding into it, and this applies to meta conversations as well. And, for me to not be on a high horse, yeah, by responding here I'm doing the same, I admit it's fun to shit talk things.
As for what I personally think, I think the best thing one can do is foster the more spontaneous topics, maybe if I've got some time to kill try some non baity OPs, rather than just focusing on the shit on this board non stop. And, that applies to a lot of shit, even stuff like the /v/s new obsession with Dandy's World is I'd say of much more use than the usual trite, since there there's a slightly higher ratio of people who talk about games funnily enough.
Already started falling into pseudo general territory, but those small cliques or random interesting OPs is why I keep coming back here, if I truly saw all of it just for its ragebait I would've left a while ago.
