I'm very disappointed by their decision to basically kill off assassin. I was looking forward to playing one in msclassic and now I probably won't bother playing msclassic at all.

if your first thoughts within minutes of playing this game aren't "Huh, maybe we should bring back the Firing Squad" then you were part of the problem in the first place.

This game being too fucking expensive is a huge opportunity waste on sega's part. I would love to play this game with my friend, who is also a big sonic fan, but I could barely afford to pay for my own copy, and the price is too steep for him.
I imagine there is a lot of people in a similar situation, who are either effectively priced out of this game or have friends that are. They probably would have made more money in the end if the game was $40.
