So I guess my only options are to buy an impact driver, ask my LGS for help, or send the can back to DA for warranty. Apparently this is a known issue because the subcontractor for DA who made those Wolverines overtorqued the thread inserts (despite the whole point of the silencer being that it's modular and user-configurable). DA makes good products but they're also retarded 50% of the time.

It's kinda too late at this point but I think I would have preferred being a sound designer instead. I keep buying sound packs on sales and imagining how cool it would be if I combined them and used them for certain things in games.
