Does anyone know how to deal with grief?
I'm 23 and just lost my granma. I don't have any family left and I just can't make friends due to my autism no matter how much I try. I'm neet and the outside world seems so hostile. I just want to distract myself with my comic until I die but I'm not sure if that's mentally feasible.

How do I get better at organizing and presenting my thoughts in a more cohesive and easily transmittable manner? I feel like I need to go back to basics when it comes to writing and orating ideas. Not that I don't talk with people regularly or write but I suspect years of parasocial media and imageboard use has gimped my communications skills. Anyone know that feel?

MillionDollarExtreme peaked in 2013 when their main channel received its first ban and the group had to start spreading out content. Prior to this ban, they were just another YT sketch comedy group, like Smosh or BalloonShop. What made MDE unique wasn't the editing or humor, it was basically just an edgier Tim & Eric with hints of Wonder Showzen. It was the whole mystique around them, how Sam had so many personal videos but was still this enigmatic weirdo, how Nick and Charls were very reserved despite appearing in skits so often, how there was a seemingly endless backlog of stuff to watch beyond Ideas Man and Moms if you knew where to look. Even though they weren't particularly funny or insightful, they understood how the Internet operated and their videos couldn't really exist in any other format. It also helped that in its early stages, their fanbase was full of decent people who weren't attention whores, but that's just the nature of any niche community going to shit over time.
The last good thing to ever come out of MDE was Sam's KSTV series, and only a few episodes before it ran its course and become a glorified podcast. This was the point where Sam realized he could be parasocial with his audience and it also had the first instances of his odd "ironic alpha bro" persona start leaking through the comedy. All the drama, all the side projects, all the paypig stuff began with the Gumroad content. Even though searching out those videos was extremely easy, lots of people foolishly gave Sam money to paywall future content, and this made not only him, but Nick and Charls extremely complacent, so that when they eventually came back to YT none of that spark was there anymore and they were totally fine becoming yet another victim of the algorithm, prioritizing EPIC CLIPPABLE MOMENTS over actual substantive videos with a modicum of production value.
MDE basically lived and died by the Internet, the TV show barely even factors in when you really think about it.
