you’re incredibly naive; the only difference between now and back in the day you’re so admittedly fond of that you weren’t even there to experience, is both the potency _of_ the drugs as well as the ease of access _to_ said drugs; throughout the entirety of our history, human culture has always, and i mean ALWAYS, had three fundamental tenets to them:

Speaking of, “divine revelations” also typically happened to occur to ancient people(a) that suffered from, wait for it, seizures, and by extension, drug-induced seizures. Say, for instance, drug-induced ticks and jerky movements resulting from getting higher than giraffe balls and tripping the fuck out around a big bonfire with all your buddies and, ideally, an endless flow of mead.
No sacred fire has been stolen, your mind has been poisoned and equally polarised by modern-day contemporary black/white dichotomous thinking, and you inject your ego into your own belief system as a coping mechanism for being unable to reach the same intended state of enlightenment as your predecessors due to both a working internet connection & your innate hubris. The “elites” are souls respectively just as lost as your own, in that your desires are all worldly, and material. You’ll need to drop that weight if you intend to go upwards, misguided one.
