What really helped me was the tip of one Anon to stay near the walls, so it always crashes into the wall instead of just the third attempt.
That, and getting gud after dozens of tries.

no it isn't lol, base boomerang can do like 28 damage or more per throw on a boss if you throw from the proper range, you can kill most bosses in under a minute or two. methinks your having a skill issue, just git gud and learn to maximise your damage off bosses

Protip: Always try to stand near the wall when it does its charge attack, so it hits the wall every time.

I also took quite a while to take it down with shit gear. But beating it also helped me to git gud, so later bosses gave me less trouble.

I've beaten Savage Flybeast with way less gear.
Widow was rather easy compared to that since most of her attacks only deal 1 damage, compared to Flybeast which can easily take 80% of your health in one attack if you're unlucky.
