Okay Linux enthusiasts, I have to use stuff like _inmm.dll and winmm.dll to get Red Book CD Audio working in games like Age of Empires 1 and others which used it back in the day. Yes, I am aware of UPatch for AoE1 which has its own solution for this, but you can only play the Rise of Rome expansion with it, and I'd like to play vanilla, which I can currently do on Windows with the help of winmm.dll. Can you confirm that this also works on Linux? If so, I will very strongly consider making the switch. There are too many games I want to play that have Red Book Audio and need a workaround to get it playing in-game.

I legitimately do NOT understand how this game survived all these years, nothing ever changes, you drop on the map where nothing happens, find RNG weapons and either die immediately or get in the top 5, its repetitive as fuck and takes forever to get to the end
