the game has too many strange and wacky gimmicks and you're relying on a gacha roll to possibly get the student who can complete it. the game would only be for people whaling if you couldn't borrrow and the difficulty would have to be reduced. whereas now you can punch above your weight in super difficult stuff you couldn't otherwise do to get a taste of what's to come and simply enjoy the game. plus it enables a huge variety of boss encounters that you couldn't have in a regular rpg style game.
mutiple sensei exist so it makes sense through the power of schale we can borrow students from other universe to come help us. that's exactly what shiroko terror is she's a student from another universe who came and helped save the world.
just think of it as other sensei helping out a fellow sensei
