I’m convinced more people like the idea of watching Gumball than actually watching it.
This show has a disposable nature to it. You watch a few episodes and you get the gist of it, and anything else is just a potential bonus clip you might find on Xitter with 78k likes against 200k views for some reason.

The seven year wait is coming to a close.
And despite my ambivalence, I've tried to remain neutral, but now slight dread is starting to settle in.
I don't want to speak too soon but oh man I don't know.
This is it. This is fucking it. And it will probably be business like always.
Dirty business I'd be better off not touching but I can't help myself.
I wish rewatching the show under the new perspective I've gained over the last seven years would make me appreciate the whole show a bit more, but that wasn't really the case. It was the same to me then, and it's the same to me now, and I fear the show's new season won't change that either.
I'd like to be proven wrong, but I'll see.
