He should never wear a hat in the whole trilogy. Though, Zelda would look nice in a a cute lil hat every once in a while. But the "classic" pointy green hat won't work, especially on this motherfucker. Look at his serious ass face. Him wearing that thing just wouldn't work.

I think Link won't get a sword until the third movie. The Master Sword will be his first and only one. Before that he will just use whatever he can get his hands on like in Breath of the Wild. He'll probably also craft some of his own weapons like spears and bows. I also think he won't start out in any special clothes, but will get the Champion's Tunic in the last film too.
