If there wasn't a single creator existence/original existence, we would be stuck in infinite regress (a loop of never ending "x was born from y and y was born from z", etc")
As in the universe as a whole needs an original existence as there has to be a beginning that precedes space and time (as those came with the creation of the universe) since something can't come from nothing (inb4 quantum physics cope), meaning something was before the universe and outside of the universe that was able to affect change (you have to exist to affect change) to bring the universe into being.
That's just the chronological aspect too. There's also the greater philosophical aspect of "contingency" (being dependent on) in which elements of an object or idea have something that must exist in order for that object or idea to exist. You can take this back to the origin of the universe as well and eventually get to a "necessary existent". See Ibn Sina's "proof of the truthful" for more as he goes further back as some people like to cope about the universe being the necessary existent.
