The thing with jobs is that people are told to think they're just a cog but some people are better than others at the job and actually are one of the big reasons the managers are getting profits, managers don't really do much except paper pushing and going on meetings all day. If you are valued you can unironically leave or start negotiating your salary to what you like. This isn't just for seniors either, a lot of juniors have the same, though they're less likely to negotiate they will get salary boosts and promotions very quick. At least where I work. A new item called "Leash" is being introduced.

It is a bottom-lane only item that replaces the trinket for that player from 03:00 to 18:00.
It has a cooldown of 90 seconds and requires a certain condition to be met.
The item can only be used when the support player is in any other lane or any part of the jungle AND the enemy support is very far away from the support upon which Leash was used.
It will force teleport the support player to the bottom lane turret if it is clear of visible enemies within 1200 units but only if the bottom lane player is nearby that turret.
Because it replaces bottom's vision trinket for a duration, upon use, it forces the support player to automatically drop wards in nearby bottom lane bushes every 45 seconds and trigger an oracle lens scan every 90 seconds due to a NEW support item passive that only becomes active when Leash is used.

I go scaling armor seals, scaling MR glyphs, and standard AD marks and AS quints. Masteries 18/0/12 taking Fervor, and Fearless in Resolve tree. 2 points in vampirism in offense as well.

Then I go standard cait build which is IE components, zeal item, it's mostly preference imo whether you buy IE first or Runaan's first. They're going to nerf Headshot to not gain stacks off Runaan's in which case I will go Shiv first most likely.

With those runes and masteries I get a lot of defensive stats and can go for a mostly full offensive build, and that's really valuable because ADC's are often capped on item slots if you are forced to buy a last whisper item. IE, Zeal, Zeal, Lifesteal, Boots, LW, no room for defensive item.

Laning phase I just put a lot of emphasis on auto spacing when harassing the enemy since I have scaling runes, and can't afford to take a lot of return damage. Once I get a few levels and trade potions I'll try to keep lane shoved under tower with traps which is pretty standard.

It's hard to generalize late game but just make sure you are using all your traps so you have the highest chance someone steps on them, it's why I take fervor every game too, a fully stacked fervor late game attack on someone who steps on a trap is almost a one shot.

That's Supports though.
ADCs are "cry babies" for very good reason - everyone on the team is working against them in a lot of games. You really should play at least 100 games as one to understand how much Support players often grief the lane.
A Tank Support also makes the lane very free if the ADC doesn't push. Enchanter Supports require the ADC to be good at the game, while Tanks will lower the skill required to win the game. Enchanters also generally just stand behind, and offer nothing in the lane in low elo. They don't poke, they don't use their health as resources, they have an ego for standing two screens back somehow.

Adc is the most broken role in high elo and in coordinated play but as payback you lack agency, is the most punishing and forces you to be affected by the decisionmaking of the support that doesnt actually know how to play in his own elo. Crybaby definetely yes but the worst player is more likely to be the support. Playing along with sustain, buffs and freescaling is easy the problem is that its more of a playerdiff where enchanters tend to play like theyre semi afk so your own performance has to be limited as a result. If you were "statchecked" by the most vulnerable, exp kneecapped role in the game then its completely deserved.

I think the opposite. If it wasn't for more than half of the people in Challenger exclusively playing on smurfs then the queue times would've never gotten nearly as bad as they have gotten now. They've done this to themselves.

Why exactly does it matter if you're just testing out a new build? Is it that much different if it's an Emerald 4 player you're laning against compared to a Masters player? I feel like if you're just gauging new items' value and worth that hinges much more on your performance than it does any other aspect of the game, including whoever any of the other players are.
For a more direct example, if you feel like trying out Archangels Rylai on Seraphine or something - why does it matter? You might have a harder time landing spells on the Masters player but that's irrelevant in the context of "trying out a new build" - you're going to be doing the same damage and seeing the difference of the items on your end regardless.

Do you really think you wouldn't be able to discern the difference between having and not having Redemption? You using an Active item out of all of the possibilities sort of puts you in a hole as I think that's one of the most noticeable changes in itemization you can feel.
