I didn't think Other M was that great, and I wasn't a huge fan of the story but I really do not understand why there was such an overreaction to this. Specifically in calling it sexist. Like there were people on all sides screaming at them and saying they just made her cry because she was a girl. I think they just took the one aspect of Samus lore that actually existed and tried to expand on it. Samus has basically no character in any of the games minus maybe Fusion. Do I think it ultimately failed? Yes, I do believe that, but I was just blown away by how many people thought this serious attempt at expanding her character was done in bad faith or to "ruin" her.

Scott is a likable guy but actually watching his videos and especially the one on his childhood games is just depressing.
It is clear that the guy is barely a gamer. I mean seriously. Most of his childhood was playing Spongebob games and other random shovelware licensed games. He has essentially only played Mario and Zelda games and even Zelda games he admits he never beat them. So what the fuck does he actually play or do?
It is clear he likes collecting games, merchandise, and the history of gaming more than actually playing games. Just makes his entire channel seem stupid.

I barely played 0.2, frankly. The game just doesn't feel fun to play currently and I actually don't mind a slower game. The problem is that the end game is still based around PoE1 of speed > everything and quantity > quality but they want to have meaningful combos like parrying and shit.
The game cannot have shit like every mace skill having built in attack delay while filling the screen with 10,000 rare rape apes with on death effects and soul eater and haste auras coming for your asshole. It is weird how the combat works fine in the campaign but the second you get to maps it falls apart because they rushed out an "end game" that is just a copy of PoE1's.
