Learning to play an instrument and learning how to read music and finally learning how to be creative and compose new music are all wildly different skill sets unfortunately.
You could spend years practicing piano and reading sheet music just to barely be able to hold your own at a real recital and be frustrated that years of effort doesn't even translate into the slightest bit of creative ability even if you can bang out mozart with your eyes closed.

My advice? Download FL studio and start watching youtube videos on composition and music theory and everything else people pay $50k a year to learn at art school. You're going to have more immediate fun learning how to dick around with drum machines and basic melodies than route memorization of "chopsticks" and "heart and soul"

You like music?
DJing has an entry fee of $200-$1000 and you can start collecting vinyl records that you can actually play instead of not serving any purpose outside of the collection itself.
Then you can start scratching and fucking up the records and playing them live and finding out how expensive lights and cool tables and random gadgets and peripheral devices can get.

Much obliged, I try to have a piece of music for every possible situation and reference.
Dubstep is also a versatile label, all kinds of cool stuff is thrown under that label with the loud obnoxious stuff which itself is pretty cool.

I went to a camping dubstep festival and it's like woodstock, a metallica concert, and the dark weird side of raves and electronic music all got together with a giant police force to party.

Setting up a camp spot with choppers flying overhead and police squads rolling around with dogs was certainly a vibe.
