Nod-Krai is a huge step forward for the game in so many ways
Not to state the obvious, but the story is probably the best it has been right now in my opinion. I don’t have much more to say on it other than its amazing.
The things that truly are a step forward is the handling of exploration and reputation. To start, exploration has been incredibly rewarding and enjoyable, the treasure compass gives me more goal and direction over senseless wandering and I’m genuinely enjoying it so much. Instead of having to drag my feet through painfull long and uninteresting world quests I’m being fed small digestiable quests with them all focusing on different things but being tied together at the end some how. The handling of the Sigils so far has been great, I feel genuine drive to max out the area constructs because its all done in very bitesized pieces. The exploration experience is an absolute 10 from me.
As for reputation, obviously I briefly touched on the handling of sigals but the same being for reputation in Nod-Krai.. little bite sized quests that I can digest rather than just spam clicking LMB1 to get me away from 15 minutes of yap. The old reputation system is boring, waiting a week to some meaningless bounties is so dull. And I know the new rep isnt much different in wait times, but having it be a quest to look forward to and not some unnamed fontainian robot to beat up who somehow is immune to peanut allergies. It’s refreshing.

If you don't like the direction Hoyo's going with end game difficulty, stop try-harding.
If you don't have fun dealing with any of the new enemies in endgame modes, especially if not having the latest Nod-Krai characters is the reason, stop engaging with it. Give Floor 12 a good, honest try (or however many tries until you get frustrated), and then stop. Ignore SO after getting all primos. Just because you could brute-force it with Mavuika or Skirk given enough tries, doesn't mean you should.
Why? Because they keep track of everything we do, including how many stars we get each Abyss, the highest damage we can deal, how fast we clear content, how high our scores are in those combat events, and how often we attempt a stage. I don't know for sure, but I sure hope that Hoyo balances their game around all this data they are collecting.
If one of those combat events comes around, and you force yourself to get those platinum medals by brute-forcing it, you send the message that a) the boss' difficulty is completely fine (or perhaps even too weak if too many people are able to get good scores) and that b) this kinda content keeps you engaged.
But if Hoyo were to notice that people aren't trying to get that last star anymore, that they're spending way less time logged into the game doing endgame content than they did a year ago, that they are scoring way lower than predicted, they'd have to rethink their strategy. Because, as important as money from whales might be, the time the average player spends on this game is just as important.
Tl;dr: Don't inflate what your account can do by spending time re-attempting endgame content (especially if you find it tedious and frustrating); it sends the message that the content can be cleared just fine, and, more importantly, that it's making you play the game more. If you are struggling with the new bosses, show it.
